As part of the Modellfabrik Papier, your mission is to establish contacts with relevant actors from science and research institutes in order to build and expand a resilient innovation network.
Through your constant research of scientific developments, you contribute to keeping the research work of the Modellfabrik Papier up to date and to winning researchers and scientists for their cooperation.
Through this strategic knowledge management, you will help shape the research agenda and contribute to establishing the Modellfabrik Papier as a hub for reinventing papermaking.
Your mission
Your tasks
- Strategic networking with participating scientific actors of the Modellfabrik Papier in the field of paper-related research and development
- Establishment of a scientific innovation network
- Conceptualisation, organisation and implementation of networking activities with the scientific community
- Identification of further scientific cooperation partners
- Researching and evaluating academic developments and checking for compatibility with research at the Modellfabrik Papier
- Co-designing the future research agenda of the Modellfabrik Papier
- Participation in networking events in the scientific context
- Support of marketing tasks
- Maintenance of a CRM tool
- Successfully completed university degree (Diplom (FH) or Bachelor) or other relevant qualification in the field of paper production/paper chemistry or other related natural sciences.
- Basic knowledge of the paper industry and its research institutions
- Enjoyment of scientific work
- Very good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Independent and self-reliant way of working
- Experience with and enjoyment of direct customer contact with scientific institutes as well as building and maintaining networks of research institutions
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with new tasks and software applications
- High degree of flexibility as well as willingness to travel between the locations of the actors and events
- Ability to work in a team, organisational skills, communication skills, personal responsibility, reliability
