Funding manager (m/f/d)

in the area of federal/state funding in the context of structural change in the Rhenish mining area

Your tasks

  • Development of a concept for the processing and controlling of funding as well as its implementation
  • Administrative supervision of research projects: Budget control, preparation of financial overviews, requests for funds, preparation of supporting documents
  • Continuous review of bookings for their eligibility for funding
  • Support in formulating applications for project funds
  • Formulation of necessary change requests to the funders
  • Strategic request for funds within the framework of determining the funders
  • Audit-secure and on-time accounting of spent funds in accordance with the respective funding requirements
  • General organisational tasks and assistance to the management
  • Completed vocational training in an office profession (office management assistant, administrative assistant, etc.) or another relevant qualification
  • Many years of relevant professional experience in the administrative support of research funding projects, also in the processing of particularly difficult and complex issues
  • Very good knowledge in the areas of accounting and project administration
  • Very good knowledge and routine in the area of electronic office communication, confident handling of data processing, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and willingness to familiarise oneself with the software to be implemented for funding management
  • Experience with secretarial, administrative and organisational tasks
  • Ability to work in a team, organisational skills, communication skills, personal responsibility, reliability

Location

The Modellfabrik Papier will be built on the site of the Innovation Quarter at the Dueren railway station. Construction will start at the end of 2023.
The offices are currently located in the CO_SPACE.DN in the Pleußmühle in Düren.
